Gedling Pet Cremation Services
A fitting tribute for your faithful companion
About us
Gedling Pet Cremation Services is a council owned business operating from our Jubilee House site in Arnold near Nottingham City Centre, serving the East Midlands area.
We provide you as pet owners with a personal, caring service, tailored to meet your requirements. Our staff understand the sense of loss and sadness when a pet dies, so customer care, at a very difficult time, is at our core. We provide a fitting pet cremation and tribute for your pet with dignity and compassion.
All pets are cremated within a 48 hour time period in our purpose-built facility designed to individually cremate domestic pets.
As part of our service we can arrange for the collection of your pet from home or from the veterinary surgery. You can also arrange an appointment to bring your pet directly to the cremation centre.
We understand how difficult it can be to say goodbye. As part of the service, you can use our Reflection Room, an area of quiet contemplation where you are welcome to spend as much time as you need to say goodbye to your pet. You can also leave a tribute to your pet using our online book of remembrance.
No one should feel they are on their own at a time of loss and we promote the services offered by the charity Blue Cross. Blue Cross is a charity which offers a support service if you have lost, or are facing saying goodbye to a much loved pet and need somebody to talk to. Visit their website for more information.

David arrived just over an hour later. He was so kind and caring. Really gentle with Cringer. Talking to her as prepared her to take her away. Talked me through the options of the scatter pots. Reassured me that she hadn’t been sick or anything for a longer period of time. How long ago she must have passed in the night. Which really helped settle me and my racing mind as it was all so sudden. He was just so loving with her. Talking to her as he took her to his van. Was so sweet and thoughtful. I picked Cringer’s ashes up the next day. Where he gently guided me through how to remove her ashes as I’d decide I’d like to put some in some jewellery. Told me I could contact them at any time. Just really professional and so empathetic. I couldn’t have asked for better care for my best friend for her cremation. I’ll always be so thankful for David and his kind words and how he looked after her with such love. Thank you. I’m sure you’ve made many many friends over the rainbow bridge. Who look over you with love. Amber Kill31. January, 2025.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very kind, compassionate, and professional. Our beloved dog Jarvis sadly passed away suddenly in the early hours on Tuesday 13th August 2024. I contacted Lucy at 9am the same morning and arranged to drop Jarvis off straight away. When Jarvis and I arrived we were greated by David. He was caring, compassionate and patient with us. He explained everything and then gave us time to say our final goodbyes. I asked David if I could have Jarvis's ashes back as soon as possible because I wanted to take him back to his favourite place Jinglebells where he had been for the past week. At 14:45 later that day Lucy called me to say Jarvis was ready to be collected. By 15:00 I was there collecting Jarvis and again being shown the same care, compassion and patience by David. We were reunited with Jarvis and on our way back to his favourite place. Thank you so much, you provided my best friend with a lovely send off. Richard Darling16. August, 2024.
