Gedling Pet Cremation Services is a council owned business operating from our Jubilee House site in Arnold near Nottingham City Centre, serving the East Midlands area.

We provide you as pet owners with a personal, caring service, tailored to meet your requirements. Our staff understand the sense of loss and sadness when a pet dies, so customer care, at a very difficult time, is at our core. We provide a fitting pet cremation and tribute for your pet with dignity and compassion.

All pets are cremated within a 48 hour time period in our purpose-built facility designed to individually cremate domestic pets.

As part of our service we can arrange for the collection of your pet from home or from the veterinary surgery. You can also arrange an appointment to bring your pet directly to the cremation centre.

We understand how difficult it can be to say goodbye. As part of the service, you can use our Reflection Room, an area of quiet contemplation where you are welcome to spend as much time as you need to say goodbye to your pet. You can also leave a tribute to your pet using our online book of remembrance.

No one should feel they are on their own at a time of loss and we promote the services offered by the charity Blue Cross. Blue Cross is a charity which offers a support service if you have lost, or are facing saying goodbye to a much loved pet and need somebody to talk to. Visit their website for more information.

It is easy to arrange a cremation for your beloved pet with us, whether your veterinary surgery use us or not.

Our staff are trained and experienced bereavement and pet cremation professionals. They will listen to you and understand your wishes before tailoring the service to meet your needs, guiding you through the steps involved.

No matter where you live, be it locally or further afield, we are committed to providing you with a personal and responsive service. You can ask for your pet to be collected from your home or vet, or bring your pet to our Jubilee House site yourself.

       On Monday 11 March our beautiful boy Jasper crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully at home under the wonderful care of The Rainbow Vet. We then spoke to David at Gedling Pet Crematorium and arranged to take Jasper shortly afterwards. On arrival David greeted us and talked us through our options. He was caring, compassionate and understanding at this heartbreaking time and we left Jasper in his care. 24 hours later we were able to fetch his ashes and bring him home where he belongs. We chose the forget-me-not tube which is beautiful and received a lovely hand written card together with Jaspers paw prints. I just want to say thank you for the wonderful professional caring service you have provided and highly recommend you to anyone who has lost a pet ❤

      On Friday 5th January, his 14th Birthday, we said our final goodbye to our beautiful Cocker Spaniel Jackson. Gedling Pet Cremation Services had been highly recommended by our vet so I contacted them & spoke to Lucy to put everything in place. She contacted me once the vets had left our house to say she was on her way. I cannot speak highly enough of Lucy. She was caring, sympathetic & professional. She was kind to myself & my family but most of all she was very respectful to Jackson. I had a call today (Monday) to say Jackson was ready to come home & I went to fetch him. I had chosen a scatter tube with a design that I think Jackson would approve of & I was given an envelope. Inside was a lovely card, Jackson’s big paw prints & a poem. From Start to finish Lucy & David did an exceptional job & you should be very proud of yourselves & the service you offer. I would highly recommend. Thank you x

      Couldn’t recommend them enough, when my bearded dragon Spyro passed away just before Christmas they were so kind and they organised everything when I phoned and arranged to take him into their care the next day, the gentleman that came was very professional and sympathetic . When we collected him after his cremation the staff were so lovely and we felt they did everything they could for us and more and even sent a card to us.

      I am so grateful for all of their help and how easy they made things for me when my rabbit died over night. The loss was unexpected and I was able to drop her off within an hour after me calling them first thing which put me at ease a lot.
